The highest and most beautiful things in life are not to be heard about,
nor read about, nor seen but, if one will, are to be lived.
– Soren Kierkegaard
Traveling is a part of me. Living life and finding the beauty is essential, yet I got lost…for while. Trying too hard to make sense of things that needed to be lived, experienced, that over time become part of who I am, but in the thick of things perspective gets distorted.
Life is flowing, a constant stream of evolving. Attempts to make things stand still yield friction, tension. The most illogical thing I have done is not accept the flow, flux, change.
Ironic that my art is all about the flow of colors and light. Taking the chiseled reality of what one sees, transforming it into a feeling, a motion, interpreting the reality to my perceived view. Yet, I have attempted to stop the flow, to not see the transformation, to not live the highest and most beautiful things.
