Photo 52: A Play on Light | Playing with holiday lights 2

Wow! This is the 14th edition of our collaborative weekly Play on Light, a project I am undertaking with a group of talented photographers!! The current monthly theme is called Holiday Edition, playing with Holiday Lights.

This past week I attempted to capture the magic of Christmas lights glowing in the snowy nights here in Geneva. Here is the view of our local outdoor Christmas tree from my kitchen window (same window where I see the most glorious sunrises).

Booted and bundled, here is a closer take in the snowy craziness of Friday.

And, then I spotted reindeer and a sled near the tree. They made a fast getaway! There was no Santa in the sled – he must still be napping or checking his lists.

Next up in the circle is my good friend, the fabulous Justine Knight!  Click HERE is to see Justine’s interpretation of holiday lights!

Kelly - Linda, I love this abstract take on the holidays. These aren’t your typical holiday captures!

Jessie - I love the second image with the colored bokeh–so beautiful. And the fast sleigh and reindeer is awesome! Such cool shots!

Erica Collins - Linda – I love that first one. So soft and subtle and gorgeous bokeh.

Sarah Davis - I’m loving the abstract nature of these! Fantastic!

jmc - WOW, love that fast reindeer!!

Julie Kiernan - Beautiful trees and I can almost see Santa in the last abstract light trail image.
